The site of mediæval Cadeby

Cadeby’ was a village in Lindsey, the northern part of Lincolnshire, which has now wholly vanished, other than the trace of earthworks in a field. The sit off the village is now part of the estate of Cadeby Hall.

Another lost village, Beesby stood just to the north.

The village was on the Lincolnshire Wolds, five miles north of Louth
