Broughton is a village in Huntingdonshire, tucked away in a secluded valley to the north-east of Huntingdon. It is a pleasant little village and was once the site of the manor house of the Abbots of Ramsey. The village is found about six miles northeast of the county town, Huntingdon.
According to the 2001 census it had a population of 241; a small village though with a good deal of history within it.
The manor house held by the Abbots has long gone but the moat can still be seen. Several interesting houses can be found in and around the village including White Hall Farm and a rather fine Jacobean house with Flemish gables.
On the Village Green stands the ancient lock-up, which has not been called into use for many a year.
The parish church, All Saints, has above the chancel a rather splendid 'Last Judgment' painting.
