Brotherton is a village in the West Riding of Yorkshire, close by the River Aire.
The 2011 census recorded a parish population of 728.
Brotherton was the birthplace of Thomas of Brotherton, Earl of Norfolk, son of King Edward I and Margaret of France.[1]
Brotherton Church of England parish church, dedicated to Edward the Confessor, is in the Diocese of Leeds.
