The Bridge of Frew is found on the upper course of the River Forth, carrying the B822 across the river a little to the north-east of Kippen in Stirlingshire, for which reason it is also known as the 'Kippen Bridge'. It crosses between Stirlingshire on the south bank of the river and Perthshire on the north bank.
The bridge which stands today is a modern construction, built in 1965 of concrete, crossing on three spans. The bridging point is far older though, and the modern bridge replaced an Georgian three-arched stone bridge built in 1790.
