Bowland Forest or The Forest of Bowland is a township in the very west of the West Riding of Yorkshire, adjacent to the border with Lancashire. The township is shared between the ancient parishes of Slaidburn and Whalley (otherwise in Lancashire). It is divided into the Lower Division, or Bowland Forest Low (in the parish of Whalley); and Higher Division, or Bowland Forest High (in the parish of Slaidburn).

The westernmost point of the Higher Division forms the westernmost point of Yorkshire (53°57’4"N, 2°39’-0"W).
