Bolton New Houses is a hamlet in Cumberland, three miles south of Wigton and half a mile east of Bolton Low Houses. Bolton Wood Lane is another half mile further east.
The hamlet is at a bridge (Parson Bridge) where the Townthwaite Beck and Pow Gill meet to create the River Waver, which flows on to Low Houses on its way north to Moricambe Bay.
