About the village
The parish church, All Saints Church, stands in the heart of the village. It is a twelfth century church with later additions, notably a gabled 18th century south porch. It underwent a Victorian restoration in 1848. Today the church is grade II listed.
Bolton has a pub, the Eden Vale Inn, and two schools.
