The Black Water (gd) is a river in Ross-shire, running form the heart of the mountains to the River Conon close to the sea.

The Black Water begins at the meeting of the Glascarnoch River (coming form Loch Glascarnoch) with the Abhainn Srath a' Bhàthaich, from Loch Vaich, the two meeting at the Black Bridge on the A835 road. The road then follows the river down all the way to the Conon.

The Black Water flows in a southeasterly direction between the forests and past the village of Garve, below which it enters Loch Garve.

The Black Water drains the waters of Loch Garve down to the little Loch na Cròic, and form a smaller loch around Eilean nan Daraich. It tumbles over Rogie Falls, then past Contin, around Contin Island, before flowing into the River Conon near Moy Bridge.
