Beinn Dearg is a mountain of 2,720 feet to the north of Glen Lyon in the midst of Perthshire. Its height qualifies it as 'Corbett' and its relative height also as a 'Marilyn'.
The mountains stands to the north-east of Bridge of Balgie, a hamlet in the glen, and just west of Càrn Gorm, a munro of 3,376 feet.
