On Bannow Bay

Bannow Bay is the tidal estuary of the River Owenduff in County Wexford, on the south coast of Ireland. It is almost closed at its mouth on the open sea.

The village of Bannow stands on the headland on the east of the bay which is known as 'the Isle of Bannow'.
