Summary

Description
English: Dinsdale Spa. Built as Dinsdale Spa Hotel on the North bank of the river Tees. In 1789 a sulphur spring was found during exploration for coal, and bathing facilities were installed during the 1790s. New baths were completed in 1824. Middleton-One-Row was updated to cater for the increasing number of visitors. Many of these health-seekers arrived by rail at Dinsdale station. Later became Dinsdale Golf Club.
