Rowland is a village in Derbyshire, near the larger village of Great Longstone (where the population is included). Rowland lies within the chapelry of Baslow. Rowland is within the Peak District National Park.

The village is on a dead-end lane, which beyond the village turns into a track leading up to the quarries on the hills above.
