Ewell Minnis is a small and rather pretty village near Dover in Kent.
The name of the village is from the Old English Æwelm, meaning "source of a river" and gemænnes, a Kentish word for common land. The spring in question is that of the River Dour, which runs down to Dover. (Read more)
