Ascott House

Ascott House is a country house in Buckinghamshire, in the hamlet of Ascott near Wing, and set in a 3,200-acre estate.

The original house was a farmhouse built in the reign of James I and known as "Ascott Hall". In 1873 it was acquired by Baron Mayer de Rothschild, whose nephew Leopold transformed it into the substantial, but informal, country house it is today. (Read more)
