Scottish Association of Marine Sciences labs

Dunbeg is a village in Argyllshire, about two and a half miles outside of Oban.[1] It is known in Gaelic as An Dùn Beag, and was formerly known as 'Dunstaffnage' (Dùn Stafhainis).

Dunbeg has a population of just under 1,000. It is home to the Scottish Association for Marine Science, one of the primary marine science centres in the UK. Also near Dunbeg is Dunstaffnage Castle, part of the Campbell Clan and is owned by the Captain of Dunstaffnage.
