Eilean na h-Iuraiche as seen from North Ballachulish

Eilean na h-Iuraiche is an uninhabited island in Loch Leven, the sea loch that separates Argyllshire from Inverness-shire. It lies adjacent to the Inverness-shire shore and belongs to that county, and parish of Kilmallie. This island gets its name name from its peculiar shape resembling that of a boat, in Gaelic meaning "The Barge Island".
