Loddington is a village and parish in Northamptonshire. At the time of the 2001 census, the parish's population was 477 people (including Orton),[1] increasing to 520 at the 2011 Census.[2] St Leonard's parish church is Grade II* listed and dates mainly from the 13th and 14th centuries bur was substantially remodelled in 1578.

The manor of Loddington belonged in turn to the De Baud, Kynnesman, Syers, and Allicock families before being acquired by Lord Overstone. Loddington Hall is a Grade-II* Tudor manor-house which was constructed by Robert de Baud, then in charge of Royal works at Geddington, c 1290-1300 and High Sheriff of Northamptonshire from 1280 to 1288. It was remodelled by the Syers family c 1615 and passed in 1660 to the Kynnesman family. In the 1900s it was used as a school and as a training centre. [3] It has since been converted into flats.
