Squad Template

Hi. Do you know when you'd be able to sort that squad template Wikipedia uses for its football clubs? I am looking forward to getting the structure of the article set, so I can slowly add more and more bit to the article

I have created the Fs start, Fs player, Fs mid and Fs end templates. This should allow you to create squad lists in a similar way to Wikipedia. Note that that "nat" field and associated flag icon is not supported, so you do not need to include it. Owain (talk) 10:37, 5 August 2015 (UTC)
Thank you for doing that. Can you put it on the page for me between the headings ground and records . I will try but it's probably quicker for you to set it up. If you don't mind.

I just need RB to put his template of the football kits on the main infobox and I shall be pretty much done!

I have all the info here in code, but I don't know how to set it up to look normal. Obviously, when it's set up I can just edit it how I want.

That's the mess I made. I'm not sure how to get into your templates
That would have worked fine if you had put the 'fs start' template at the beginning! Owain (talk) 16:57, 5 August 2015 (UTC)
Yes! Sorted!! Just the kit templates to go now in the main info box. RB has done the templates for those. It's just a case of adding it correctly

Football Kit Template

Hi Owain. RB has created the Kit template but is having trouble getting it to work. As you know about the Wikipedia Footy Templates, can you help us out? I have described the colours of the kits (Home and Away). Either on his talk page or mine. Thank you

Maps

Hi, you replied to the post i asked about having the map on my own wiki. ideally would like to have the urk resolve to my own wiki address and also the following to resemble mine instead of using your address http://wikishire.co.uk/map/colour/${z}/${x}/${y}.png

but instead have http://mywikiexampleurl.co.uk/map/colour/${z}/${x}/${y}.png I looked at the source code and most of it uses open layers and slippy which underatnd but its getting url to be my wiki instead

If your web server is running Apache you can use an .htaccess file with Redirect or mod_rewrite rules to achieve this. For instance, the SABRE maps site at http://www.sabre-roads.org.uk/maps/ requests tiles using its own URLs but these are then redirected to wikishire URLs. You could also use mod_rewrite in conjunction with mod_proxy to transparently reverse proxy URLs if you don't want redirects. Owain (talk) 10:17, 19 November 2015 (UTC)
