The Liverpool Victoria offices at the centre of the County Gates gyratory

County Gates is a crossing point between Hampshire and Dorset in the Poole-Bournemouth conurbation. As part of the A35 road it forms the main crossing point between the two towns and the south of their respective counties.

Today, County Gates is a busy gyratory that sits on the Dorset side of the border. In the centre of the roundabout is the Liverpool Victoria headquarters. The roundabout feeds to and from Lindsay Road and The Avenue which leads to Branksome Park, Canford Cliffs and Sandbanks on the Dorset side, and Wessex Way and Seamoor Road which leads into Westbourne on the Hampshire side. Poole Road provides access in both directions. <slippymap lat="50.72361" lon="-1.9075" layer="outline" z="6" w="250" h="250" />
