Stobswood is a hamlet in Northumberland in the parish of Widdrington, lying alongside the East Coast railway line, and close to the North Sea coast. It is beside the largest village of the parish, Widdrington Station to the south-east, and only separated from it by a strip 300 yards broad, the green buffer that is Grange Wood.
Stobswood has a population of around 120.
The majority of the housing in Stobswood was built in support of the railway and the defunct brickworks that previously operated just to the east of the railway line.
