Crook of Devon

Crook of Devon is a village in Kinross-shire, within the parish of Fossoway, about six miles southwest of Kinross.

Until relatively recently the official name of the village was 'Fossoway', but this has been lost in favour of the village's by-name "Crook of Devon", which derives from the sudden angle which the River Devon makes near the village. (Read more)
