Kirkhope is a hamlet and parish in Selkirkshire adjacent to the border with Roxburghshire. Adjacent parishes are Yarrow to the north-west; Selkirk to the north-east; Ashkirk to the east (part of which also forms the county border with Roxburghshire); Roberton to the south-east; and Ettrick to the south-west.
The Ettrick Water flows through the parish from Ettrick in the south-west to Selkirk in the north-east, on the banks of which lies Ettrickbridge. The population in 2011 was 236.
