The northern shore of Loch Leven looking out to Eilean Choinneich

Eilean Choinneich is an uninhabited island in Loch Leven, the sea loch that separates Argyllshire from Inverness-shire. It lies nearer the Inverness-shire shore and so belongs to that county, and parish of Kilmallie. The name is Gaelic, meaning "Kenneth's Island".

The island forms the southernmost point of Inverness-shire.
