Duisky is a small hamlet in Argyllshire on the south shore of Loch Eil, directly across from Fassfern. It lies approximately six miles west of Fort William as the crow files, but the journey by road involves a journey of an extra 10 miles around the northern shore of the Loch. Its name is from the Gaelic Dùsgadh, meaning to awaken or rouse.
