The extreme points of the United Kingdom may be measured in a number of ways. The United Kingdom is a land of both great cities and scattered islands and all things in between and the traditional measurement of Great Britain "from Land's End to John o' Groats" is not the full measure of the land.
Extreme points of the United Kingdom
- Northernmost point – Out Stack, Shetland at 60°51’36"N, -0°52’26"W
- Southernmost point – Western Rocks, Isles of Scilly at 49°52’16"N, 6°24’11"W
- Southernmost settlement – St Agnes, Isles of Scilly at 49°53’31"N, 6°20’49"W
- Westernmost point – Rockall at 57°34’59"N, 13°40’59"W

- Easternmost point – Lowestoft Ness, Suffolk at 52°28’52"N, 1°45’46"E
Highest and lowest
- Highest point – Ben Nevis, Inverness-shire at 4,409 feet 56°47’49"N, 5°0’14"W
- Lowest point – Holme Fen, Huntingdonshire, 9 feet below sea level at 52°28’59"N, 0°13’1"W

- Easternmost settlement – Lowestoft, Suffolk at 52°28’1"N, 1°45’0"E
