Great Wigborough is a village and ancient parish in the Winstree Hundred of Essex. Along with Little Wigborough it forms the civil parish of Great and Little Wigborough. The population of the civil parish as of the 2011 census is 246.[1]

The hamlet of Stafford's Corner lies to the north-west of the village on the B1026 road.

St Stephen's church dates from the 14th century and is a Grade-II* listed building. Heavily damaged in the earthquake of 1884, it was extensively restored.[2]
