Summary

Description
English: Lady Kitty's Doocot, Haddington. Built in the 18th century as part of a walled garden by Lady Catherine Charteris. The doocot was restored in the 1960's. The circular design is typical of 18th-century ornamental dovecots, but the Gothic detailing is unusual. The diamond-shaped opening contains the flight holes for the birds.
