Chirk Hundred is one of the hundreds of Denbighshire, named after the town of Chirk, which it contains. It is situated in the very south-east of the county, bounded to the east by Shropshire; to the north by Bromfield Hundred; to the south by Montgomeryshire; and to the west by Merionethshire. The hundred originates as the mediæval commotes of Chirk, Nanheudwy, Cynllaith and Lower Mochnant.
It comprises the ancient parishes of:
- Chirk
- Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog
- Llanarmon Mynydd Mawr
- Llangadwaladr
- Llangedwyn
- Llangollen (except Eglwyseg hamlet)*
- Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant (part)†
- Llansantffraid Glyn Ceiriog
- Llansilin
- Llanymynech (Carreghofa township)‡

Chirk Hundred had a population of 14,089 in 2011.
